National Garden Scheme Open Day: Osterley Park and House

Rare C18 garden created by the Child family, owners of Osterley Park House, in 1770s and 1780s. The garden is currently being restored to its former glory following recent research incl the discovery in America of documents showing lists of plants to be purchased for the garden in 1788. Highlights incl the Robert Adam designed Garden House and Mrs Child's Flower Garden.
