Madhur Jaffrey: A Life in Indian Cooking

Madhur Jaffrey talks about her life in acting, her love of food, and gives some tips on Indian cooking. Jaffrey was awarded a CBE in 2004 in recognition of her services to cultural relations between the United Kingdom, India and the United States, through her achievements in film, television and cookery. The legendary actress and Indian cookery writer is the best selling writer on Indian food in the world. Initially celebrated for her roles in Merchant-Ivory film productions from the 1960s she published the first of over 30 guides to Indian cooking in 1973, going on to present several television shows.
