This winter, you can see The Royal Ballet perform the ever-popular ballet The Sleeping Beauty at London's Royal Opera House.

The whole family will love the tale of a beautiful princess woken from an enchanted sleep by the kiss of a handsome prince.

First performed in St Petersburg, Russia, in 1890, The Sleeping Beauty went on to become a cornerstone of The Royal Ballet's repertoire.

When the Royal Opera House reopened after the Second World War, The Sleeping Beauty by The Royal Ballet was the first performance.

The Sleeping Beauty was also performed by The Royal Ballet on its very first tour of America.
