Starting with Prince Albert's vision of creating an enclave devoted to culture and education, this walk includes the exteriors of the main museums, the Albert Hall and George Gilbert Scott's iconic Albert Memorial in Kensington Gardens. Learn about the history of the area including the effects of the Great Exhibition and the building of the Brompton Oratory, a church emblematic of the Restoration of the Catholic Church's hierarchy during this period.
