BBC Proms in the Park in London

Now in its 14th year, BBC Proms in the Park remains one of London's most popular outdoor live music events.

Grab a picnic and some flags and head to Hyde Park to enjoy five hours of music and entertainment, plus a sensational firework finale.

BBC Proms in the Park Line-up

In an evening of performances hosted by Sir Terry Wogan, you'll see an amazing line-up of international stars, including:

  • Barry Manilow, giving his only UK concert this year
  • Glamorous mezzo-soprano Katherine Jenkins
  • Acclaimed Icelandic tenor Garđar Thór Cortes

Accompaniment is provided by the BBC Concert Orchestra, conducted by Martin Yates.

You'll also be treated to a warm-up session hosted by BBC Radio 2 presenter Ken Bruce, featuring two top tribute bands:

  • The Counterfeit Stones, with their entertaining take on Rolling Stones songs
  • Gary Mullen and the Works, performing some of the best Queen songs

About The Proms

The word prom means a promenade concert, or a concert where part of the audience stands in a promenade area of the hall.

Proms in the Park is part of the annual BBC Proms season, which runs from mid-July to mid-September, and comprises more than 70 prom concerts.

With traditionally low ticket prices, you can enjoy world-class entertainment for as little as £5.
