Beautiful and bedazzling, magical and mysterious, the Baebes seduces with their interpretation of mediaeval music and poetry. They sing in an impressive array of languages ranging from Latin, Middle English, Mediaeval French, Italian and German to the more quaint and obscure Cornish and Mediaeval Welsh. The band's ten year history is studded with diverse achievements: as well as recording five magical albums of which three reached the top of the Classical charts, the Baebes have also toured the UK, Europe, the USA and Canada, worked with the infamous film director Ken Russell and last year recorded the score to the prestigious BBC TV drama The Virgin Queen.
