Michael Franti and Spearhead bring their mix of hip hop, reggae, rock and funk to the UK. Michael Franti was intially a member of the political rap group, The Disposable Hereos of Hiphoprisy, and found himself subject to a backlash from some members of the rap community who did not take kindly to his critique of gangster violence.
