Reading The Aryan Papers

In attempting to portray the Holocaust, Stanley Kubrick joined the growing number of film-makers who have grappled with the often intractable problems linked to representing this defining event in 20th-century history. Holocaust film historian Dr Barry Langford, looks at the Holocaust on film before and after Kubrick, and sets his un-made film Aryan Papers in the contexts both of Holocaust cinema and of Kubrick's own life and work.
