AEGON Masters Tennis Returns to London

The AEGON Masters Tennis is an end-of-year tournament and season finale to the prestigious ATP Champions Tour.
This thrilling year-long tour travels the world and pits past tennis champions against each other in order to win ranking points.
The qualifying criteria ensure a highly competitive field. Players must have previously been ranked No 1, a singles finalist in a Grand Slam Championship or a singles player on a winning Davies Cup Team.

So far this year, Goran Ivanisevic, Pat Rafter and Stefan Edberg have signed up to play at The AEGON Masters Tennis.
"I'm really looking forward to playing at The AEGON Masters Tennis at the Royal Albert Hall," says Pat Rafter.
"I hear it is an unbelievable venue and somewhere really different to get the chance to play. I am also looking forward to having the chance to get my revenge on Goran after he beat me in the Wimbledon final."
It will be Rafter's first appearance in Britain since his heart-breaking Wimbledon 2001 final loss to Goran Ivanisevic. The AEGON Masters Tennis will be played just a few miles away from the site of that unforgettable clash.
The Format of The AEGON Masters Tennis in London

The singles are split into two groups of four, competing in a round-robin tournament from Tuesday through to Saturday. The winner from each group then goes through to the grand final on Sunday.
Throughout the week, exhibition and competitive doubles matches also take place. You can expect to see old favourites like Pat Cash and Henri Leconte dust off their rackets to serve up some thrilling tennis!
