In his native France, Yann Tiersen is a nationally renowned writer and composer with a string of hugely successful albums to his name. 'Amelie' may have brought him international recognition but his music had already been recognised by a diverse array of musicians across the globe. Set amongst the decline of communist East Germany, 'Good Bye Lenin' is the soundtrack to the film of the same name.
