In Tamar Yarom's film, six young Israeli women talk with extraordinary candour about the things they did and saw during their compulsory two years of military service. One posed for a photo next to a Palestinian corpse. Another stripped a man to his underwear and beat him. Their courage in sharing how these experiences made them feel, about themselves and their society, and about their socalled enemies, is devastating.
