Misery loves company, so cry your eyes out (or just dance) with fellow miserablists at London's Feeling Gloomy.
Feeling Gloomy at O2 Academy Islington 2
Every Saturday night, you can enjoy more than five hours of the saddest, most melancholy music in the world at Feeling Gloomy.
Morrissey, The Verve, Glasvegas, Pet Shop Boys and Johnny Cash are the sort of thing you can expect to hear.
As long as a song has miserable lyrics, it's eligible to be played at Feeling Gloomy – even if the tune makes it sound upbeat!
You can make requests on the night, or even take along your own depressing tunes.
Leonard and Cliff – Founders of Feeling Gloomy
DJs Leonard and Cliff met in Wood Green Costcutter and soon discovered their shared dream of a night where people could listen to their favourite gloomy songs without fear of being ridiculed.
And so Feeling Gloomy was born!
Since that day, Feeling Gloomy has grown, with regular Live Gloom sets and taking on those pesky upbeat cheese fans at Feeling Gloomy vs Club de Fromage – A Cheese vs Misery NYE Slapdown!
