Ladysmith Black Mambazo

Ladysmith Black Mambazo represent the traditional culture of South Africa and have been described by Nelson Mandela as "South Africa's cultural ambassadors". The group sings a cappella 'isicathamiya' and 'mbube' music - loud, powerful choruses which contrast with softer, almost whispering chants, which sees voices blend harmoniously with tightly-choreographed dance moves.
