King Groovy and the Horn Stars

An exciting 18 piece big band line up playing jive and swing standards from the 40s onwards. One of London's most exciting new bands, King Groovy and the Horn Stars was formed in late 2005. Drawing dedicated and talented musicians from across the city, the Horn Stars features the traditional big band line-up of five saxophones, four trombones, four trumpets, a rhythm section of piano, drums, bass and guitar, plus vocalist. The band has a wide repertoire of numbers from swing classics through to Latin, jazz and funky styles. For a wedding, 1940s dance night, celebration or corporate event we are happy to tailor our set list to suit your requirements. Whatever the occasion, the Horn Stars guarantee good music and a great atmosphere.
