Blood Brothers at the Phoenix Theatre

Willy Russell's stage smash-hit tells the moving story of Liverpudlian twins separated at birth.

Struggling single mother Mrs Johnstone agrees to hand over one of her newborn twins to her rich, childless employer Mrs Lyons. The boys, Mickey and Eddie, grow up leading parallel lives, separated by a great economic divide, but forge a close friendship after discovering they share a birthday.

A cruel twist of fate sees them fall for the same girl, with tragic consequences.

The fantastic score includes Bright New Day, Marilyn Monroe and the emotionally-charged hit, Tell Me It's Not True.
