It was only a matter of time until some genius decided to transfer this iconic 1987 film to the stage. And the story of Baby's summer at Kellerman's is now a big hit in London's West End.

Writer and creator, Eleanor Bergstein has adapted her original script into this stage version. Expect the characters we all know and love and classic songs such as "Hey Baby", "Hungry Eyes" and "Do You Love Me?"

Dirty Dancing: Sizzling Romance

For those of you who don't know the plot, Dirty Dancing is a classic coming of age story, set in the popular American holiday resort Kellerman's, where Frances Houseman (Baby) and her family go every year. Baby meets dancer Johnny Castle and against all the odds they fall in love.

The Dirty Dancing Cast

Leanne Rowe plays Frances "Baby" Houseman, and love interest Johnny Castle (played by Patrick Swayze in the original film), will be played by dancer Martin Harvey.

They are joined by Steven Hartley as Baby's father Dr Jake Houseman, Carol Starks her mother Majorie, Jessica Brookes as Baby's sister Lisa and Nadia Coote as Penny.
