Blindness

When a city is plagued by a vile epidemic of 'white blindness' the authorities act quickly to quarantine the victims and herd them into an abandoned medical hospital. The 'society of the blind' quickly breaks down however and social Darwinism takes place where the powerful prey on the weak in search of food. There is one woman who has kept her eyesight and accompanied her husband into the hospital and eventually leads a group of blind victims away into the ravished city that has perished due to the violence.
