Animated film based on the real-life experience of director and ex-Israeli soldier, Ari Folman. After an ex-army friend discusses the horror of the 1982 Lebanese war with him, Folman realises that he in fact does not remember a thing from the period. In a bid to remember what happened and find out why his memory has failed him, Folman interviews friends, psychologists and a war reporter in this moving anti-war documentary.
