Whisky Masterclass

Do you love a drop of the good stuff? Then join the Albannach for their whisky masterclass. On the first 3 Tuesdays of the month, 6-8pm.

Develop your connoisseur taste buds with their informal but informative tutorial, demonstration and all-important tasting!

Learn from Albannach's expert how whiskies are made and how best to appreciate their individual flavours and characteristics. After covering the basic points, the masterclass explores different distillers and look at how to differentiate between Highland, Lowland, Campbeltown, Islay and Speyside spirits.

There are 3 masterclasses to choose from, each focusing on a different selection of malts:

• Flight 1 is an introductory journey into the world of whisky (£30 per person)
• Flight 2 explores the various regions and different wood finishes (£35 per person)
• Flight 3 takes you on a tour of the distinctive Islay region (£40)
• Sessions are held on the first 3 Tuesdays of the month from 6-8pm
