Oliver! – Back in London

Prepare yourself for a dazzling production of Oliver!, the classic musical based on Dickens' novel, Oliver Twist. This is the return of the 1994 production of Oliver! by Sam Mendes, which ran to popular acclaim for four years at the London Palladium.

The Story of Oliver!

If you needed reminding, this is the tale of the loveable orphan Oliver who escapes from the workhouse, and heads to London. When he arrives, he meets a street urchin called The Artful Dodger who befriends him and introduces him to life in the big city.

Oliver is taken under the wing of Fagin – the nasty leader of a gang of thieves. Through memorable songs and jolly knees-up tunes, the story unfolds until a twist of fortune sees Oliver living happily ever after.

Oliver! in London - Director and Choreographer

Rupert Goold, who won Best Director at the 2008 Olivier Awards, directs this latest production. Matthew Bourne provides more must-see choreography, and the production design is by Anthony Ward.
