Gold Star Day - 75th Anniversary of BSA Gold Star Motorcycles at Brooklands Museum

Gold Star Day celebrates Walter Handley lapping the famous Brooklands outer circuit in 1937 at over 100mph on a BSA Empire Star motorcycle. The BSA company promptly renamed the bike Gold Star, starting an illustrious line which would dominate its competition class for years to come. The Gold Star Owners' Club holds a special day of action at Brooklands museum with the biggest collection of the famous bikes ever seen together in one place.
