19th Century History: Modernism and The Changing World at City Lit

The 19th century was when the masses were incorporated into the political process for the first time. It was the age of democracy and it was also the age of great class conflict and of imperial global domination. In this course you will explore these issues in the second half of the 19th century and will by the end have developed an understanding of how 20th century politics were formed.
