The History Boys at Tabard Theatre

The History Boys' is a play about a bunch of unruly and bright sixth formers. It features a maverick English teacher and a fresh-faced supply teacher, a headmaster obsessed with the league tables and the history teacher who thinks he’s an idiot. In Alan Bennett’s play, sex and sport play just as much a part in these teenager’s lives as historical fact and poetry. But can the teachers put aside their own squabbles to help their students navigate the anarchy of adolescence.
