The Apple Cart Festival packs more entertainment punch than any other. Launched last year, it brought a line-up of music, comedy, art, cabaret and alternative fun to the leafy surrounds of Victoria Park.
Fun for all ages at the Apple Cart Festival
The Apple Cart Festival will amuse and entertain adults and kids alike.
This year's line-up includes:
- Music headliners Noah and the Whale, Scritti Politti, Billy Bragg, Gaz Coombes and Beth Jean Houghton
- Comedy from Phill Jupitus, Rich Hall, Shappi Korsandi, Josie Long and Miles Jupp
- Rude Grrl in the Cabaret tent
- Oliver Tabor, David Weeks and Piff the Magic Dragon in the special Magic tent
- DJs Sean Rowley and Gilles Peterson
- Affordable art at the Art Car Boot Fair
- Village fete games
- The chance for kids to learn about film making with The House of Fairytales Film Theatre
- Storytelling with Penguin books
If that wasn't enough, enjoy scrumptious international food from Venn St Market and indulge in a pint of Applecart Ale in Red Squirrel Brewery's Real Ale tent.
