The Lost Gold Project at Cockpit Theatre

A series of workshops and productions for acting students and aspiring professionals of all ages and backgrounds. King Antac Productions, working in close collaboration with The Cockpit Theatre, invites actors of all backgrounds and drama/acting and creative writing students of all ages to a series of classes, workshops, lectures and rehearsed readings of some of the most innovative and neglected work of the last fifty years. The Lost Gold Project aims to revive the work of some of the most inspiring and creative writers of the 20th century; whose work current trends have overlooked. These include Heathcote Williams, Snoo Wilson, David Rudkin, Paul Ableman, Barry Bermange, Bernard Kops, David Mercer, Eugene Ionesco, John Antrobus, as well as the un-revived plays of writers such as Harold Pinter, Steven Berkoff, Caryl Churchill, Howard Barker, Dennis Potter, Howard Brenton, Timberlake Wertenbaker, Arnold Wesker, Wallace Shawn and David Hare.
