Evening Beginners: Canoe and Kayak at The Pirate Castle

A fun introduction to both kayaking and canoeing. The course is designed to give newcomers the foundation skills required to become confident in a still water environment. Throughout the eight-hour course session participants are introduced to following: equipment selection, basic water safety, balance and trim of the boat, effective forward paddling, turning methods, capsize drills and spraydeck tests.
