London 2012 Race Walk

Part of the London 2012 Athletics programme, the Race Walk takes place on the streets of Central London, finishing at The Mall.

The rules of race walking dictate that one foot must remain on the ground at all times as competitors speed-walk along the route.

Competitions include a men's and women's 20k race, and a men's 50k race.
