Day Living History at The Golden Hinde

Children's history course learning about what it was like to be a crew member of The Golden Hinde. Children and staff dress in Tudor sailor's costumes and experience life aboard a Tudor warship. Workshops of navigation, barber surgey, and gun drill are led by costumed interpreters. Mock battles, moving the yardarm and turning the capstan are some of the activities and dry biscuits and grog (hobnobs and apple juice) is provided.
