Sadler's Wells and the Barbican Centre team up for the first time to present an unmissable season of 10 works by renowned choreographer Pina Bausch.
Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch: World Cities at Sadler's Wells and the Barbican
See Tanztheater Wuppertal perform ten works by the late Pina Bausch – including seven UK premieres – at Sadler's Wells and the Barbican.
Each work in World Cities explores a different location around the world: India, Brazil, Palermo, Hong Kong, Los Angeles, Budapest, Istanbul, Santiago de Chile, Rome and Japan.
Look out for intricate stage designs by Peter Pabst too, including huge tree trunks in Nur Du, a 20-foot-high hill of red silk flowers in Der Fenzterputzer and a bricked-up stage in Palermo, Palermo.
Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch: World Cities is part of the London 2012 Festival.
