Every year, the best global designs are celebrated at the Design Museum's Designs of the Year exhibition.
Industry experts nominate innovative designs across seven categories: architecture, digital, fashion, furniture, graphics, product and transport.
Designs of the Year Winners
This year's Designs of the Year winner was the London 2012 Olympic Torch.
The shortlist also included:
- The London 2012 Velodrome
- The Duchess of Cambridge's wedding dress – represented in the exhibition by a piece of lace from the dress
- A wind-propelled landmine detonator
- A virtual Tesco store
- A pop-up cinema – Folly for a Flyover in Hackney, East London
- The BBC website's homepage
You can see all the winning and shortlisted designs at the Design Museum until 15 July.
