A huge golden grasshopper, nuns behaving badly, Mr Pickwick’s favourite pub – London is full of fascinating stories if only you know where to look. Prism Secrets of the City walk has been specially designed for Prism Brasserie by Richard Bath and Rebecca Ford of Custom Walks London, to give some surprising insights into the history of our small section of the Square Mile.
It’s a journey that will take you through 2000 years of history. You’ll stand in the shadow of one of the capital’s most distinctive modern buildings; walk through a square that was the site of a notorious Victorian murder; see the site of the very first coffee house in London, the alleyway where the Hellfire Club once met and stand at one of the busiest crossroads in the Roman Empire.
At the end of your walk, (approximately an hour and a half) you can enjoy either a delicious Afternoon Tea or Cocktails and Nibbles at Prism Brasserie.
