Flight Simulation Research Conference at Royal Aeronautical Society

A conference on flight simulation which, during the last 10 years, has benefitted from major advances in computing, image generation and electrical actuation. During this time, simulation has also advanced in other sectors, including engineering design, medicine, business and gaming. The aim of this conference is to bring together developers, researchers, academics and users of simulation technology to share understanding and to appreciate the potential benefits these new technologies can bring across the broad spectrum of simulation. The conference enables pilots, manufacturers, operators, regulators and engineers to understand the potential advances offered by other industries and disciplines and equally for specialists in other sectors to appreciate the capabilities of modern flight simulation and the potential for improvement. It focuses on flight simulation technologies on the first day and covers the more general aspects of simulation on day two.
