Imagine Children's Festival

The Southbank Centre's inspirational children's festival, Imagine, returns for its 11th year.

Take part in an exciting mix of half-term activities, including film, readings, exhibitions and comedy in London.

Imagine Children's Festival 2012

This year, Imagine is bigger than ever with more than 50 events to enjoy. Highlights include:

• Reading and storytelling from new books by Jacqueline Wilson, Cathy Cassidy and Francesca Simon
• The cast of Beano in the world premiere of musical show The Trial of Dennis the Menace
• Pirates of the Caribbean star MacKenzie Crook reads and draws from his new book
• Opera for babies, hip-hop for and family-friendly orchestral performances of The Jungle Book and Carnival of the Animals
• Robert Winston demonstrates fun activities from his new book, Science Experiments
• Exploration of Roald Dahl's poetry in Dokrill's Dahl's Delights
