English National Ballet is one of the world's greatest ballet companies.

Based in London, the company tours extensively, bringing the highest quality classical ballet to audiences worldwide.

English National Ballet Dancers

English National Ballet has 67 dancers from 20 different countries. Some are graduates of the English National Ballet School.

For performances at the Royal Albert Hall, the number of dancers is increased to 120.

History of English National Ballet

English National Ballet was formed in the 1950s, based around two great British dancers, Alicia Markova and Anton Dolin.

The company was originally called London Festival Ballet, inspired by the Festival of Britain. The name was changed to English National Ballet in 1989.
