This is a puppetry course for all those who are interested in learning basic puppetry skills. Designed for absolute beginners, it is open to all those who have always wanted to have a go at puppetry but never had the opportunity to do so. Working with professional puppeteers, you will explore a variety of different puppet forms and learn the basics of puppet manipulation. There will also be a simple puppet making opportunity. This course also includes a show visit followed by a post-show chat with the puppeteers and a backstage tour.

Each term you will work with a different professional puppet maker and focus on creating a puppet of your own.
