The 2012 Festival of Sport, in partnership with East London Business Alliance (ELBA) and the Olympic lottery distributor, promises to be an exhilarating weekend of sport for all the family. You'll be able to watch the action from the 2012 Games live on our giant screens whilst chatting to sporting professionals and local sports clubs about how to improve your game. Everyone can get involved in the Sports Zone, have a go at Olympic and Paralympic sports such as tennis, rowing, kayaking, wheelchair basketball and fencing, or watch live sport demonstrations.

Through African cultural dance, music, and the talking drum, the London 2012 African Cultural Festival will celebrate the many cultures of Africa. It will do this through a carnival and procession featuring various costumes, African talking drums, music and dances and London’s African diaspora communities from at least 30 countries are expected to participate.
