    Come along to play games, build your confidence and learn a whole host of performance skills including improvisation, devising, script work, voice, movement and character work. For younger members, the focus on fun, imaginative play and developing social and communication skills. Older members can expect to hone their skills in performance, learning about what it really takes to be an actor and creating their own drama through devising and performing in showcases at Pleasance Islington. All classes are inclusive and accessible to all levels of experience and ability from the complete beginner to ambitious young actors with much more experience.

    An artsrichmond event. Throughout the summer, aspiring young writers who live or study in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames have been entering the esteemed Young Writers competition in the hope of being declared Young Laureate and Junior Laureate for the borough for the year 2010. Winners will receive certificates and prizes donated by the fund in memory of Malcolm Richards, editor of the Richmond and Twickenham Times for 27 years, at a lively event of readings, music and audience participation.

    With an opportunity to try many adventurous watersports and outdoor pursuits. Canoeing and kayaking, are taught as part of the onsite programme. Regular offsite day and residential trips are also organised, which enables members to broaden their horizons, widen their experiences and test themselves in more challenging environments. Children and young adults are welcome to take part in trampolining, canoeing, kayaking, bell boating and other adventurous activities. In addition to being involved in physical and challenging activities, the youth club also has a wide range of additional activities such as offsite trips, film nights, construction and art-based projects.

    A contemporary dance company of disabled and non-disabled dancers, that offers weekly youth dance sessions for 14-25 year olds. Each session begins with a class followed by technique and creative task work. Young people are introduced to a range of techniques and become familiar with the styles of choreographers that the CandoCo dancers work with. All classes are suitable for disabled and non-disabled young people.
