    Youth Dance Groups often find that the expense of hiring rehearsal space can be prohibitive and so Youth Dance SpaceXchange was born, a project pairing up London-based youth dance groups in need of rehearsal space with centres in need of volunteers. An unusual payment structure perhaps – but has it paid off? Come along and see what you think of the pieces these 14 youth dance groups from Lewisham, Lambeth, Croydon, Newham, Brent, Wandsworth and Bexley have created using their free space.

    A contemporary dance company of disabled and non-disabled dancers, that offers weekly youth dance sessions for 14-25 year olds. Each session begins with a class followed by technique and creative task work. Young people are introduced to a range of techniques and become familiar with the styles of choreographers that the CandoCo dancers work with. All classes are suitable for disabled and non-disabled young people.

    The Institut français will celebrate the magic of children's books, illustration and films through an exciting series of events. Children's Laureate, Michael Rosen and prolific French children's book author and illustrator Grégoire Solotareff will be on stage to kick off the launch event. Children aged 3 to 15 will have chance to meet the authors and illustrators, have their books signed and take part in workshops and talks! On the big screen, L'Avion will delight all those who dream of flying, whilst Les Enfants de Timplebach offers the chance to experience the fantasy town of Timpeltill where children are in control! Also not to be missed is the vivid animation of award-winning Kirikou and the Sorceress.

A story in the tradition of the Brothers Grimm, The Yule Lads uses music, storytelling, magic and puppets to tell the tales that have frightened and delighted children (and adults) in Iceland for centuries.
