An academic leads a group of people in a quest to stop the end of the world. According to the ancient Mayan calender, the world will end in 2012 and the protagionists who have vowed to stop this catastrophe must deal with natural disasters such as volcanic eruptions, typhoons and glaciers.

A memorial of 52 stainless steel pillars erected in memory of those killed in the 7 July London bombings. The design of the memorial commemorates each life lost with singular columns (or stelae). Each of the 52 victims are represented together in four inter-linking clusters reflecting the four separate locations of the tragic incidents.

St Mary's Hospital is home to the Alexander Fleming Laboratory Museum. Fleming discovered the antibiotic penicillin at St Mary's Hospital in 1928, a breakthrough that revolutionised medicine and earned him a Nobel Prize. Visitors to the Museum can see Fleming's laboratory, restored to its 1928 condition, and explore the story of Fleming and the discovery and development of penicillin through displays and video.

Penicillin was discovered by Alexander Fleming in a small laboratory at St Mary's Hospital in 1928. This discovery revolutionised medicine and there are very few people whose lives have not benefited from it. The laboratory has been restored to its former, cramped condition.
