Consisting of four young men aged 19 to 21, The New Wine hail from Bergen, Norway where they create their delicious and accessible brand of forward thinking indie tracks. They ply danceable synth-pop complete with light guitar riffs, funky bass and steady beats wrapped around tightly written structures. With influences ranging from The Shins, local heroes The Kings Of Convenience and stretching as far as the more electronic-punk sound of LCD Soundsystem and cosmic disco aesthetics of Lindstrom, the band cherry pick the right elements from this diverse selection of sounds, molding them into the distinctly eclectic and fresh 'New Wine' sound.
