Boxwood Café

All I can say is that Boxwood Cafe amazed me with its charming atmosphere and absolutely brilliant cuisine. Recommend! Really liked the dessert with passion fruit & pineapple

I went to Boxwood with my girlfriend for her birthday on a wednesday night. The atmosphere was excellent although it wasn' busy. the staff were extremely friendly and welcomiing and we had a really great night overall. i had the hangar steak which is recommended cooked rare-medium. it was certainly very rare, it tasted lovely but i could feel that i had had a rare steak the next day! overall though i would highly recommend and the girlfriend was very happy! ;)

Went to Boxwood for Sunday lunch. Disappointed that by 1pm they had run out of the baked scallops starter but the tagliolini of crab as an alternative was very good. Overall, the food was excellent, although choosing off the set lunch menu would have been better value for money than the a la carte we went for. A very pleasant and relaxed lunch. Would go again.
