This was our second visit to Adulis and once again it was great. We enjoyed it so much last time we had to bring friends back to try it. The food is delicious and the service is friendly although it was a little slow when we first arrived. Cant wait to go back to Adulis!

Adulis - great lighting, atmosphere and decor. Nice mix of locals and others trying the food for the first time. Friendly service. We ordered the combination plate, great for first timers. You eat with your fingers with unleavened bread which makes things pretty fun and the food itself was excellent - lightly spiced lamb dishes, tasty spinach and vegetable dishes and a lovely spicy chicken dish which was incredibly tender. This plus a bottle of wine was under £25 each making it great value.

good. i came here before with a large group and it was a completely different experience this time round. my mum loved it too. lovely food and no rush,just a relaxed afternoon.

Great setting in main restaurant area. We had the sharing plate for two which was a good mix of meat n veg and was great value. The service was excellent with the waiter really made an effort recomending a meal. highly recomended

Adulis is really nice restaurant and the food was great. Unfortunately the service is dire. There was a really large group of us so it seemed to be too many people for the staff to handle! Some people didn't get there meal until the end of other's meal. Still, was a great place, and think there wouldn't be any problems of this kind if you're going with just another person or 2.
