Tom Aikens

As usual Tom Aikens did not disappoint, still the best value in London.

The £23 for two courses is great and you can skip desert as long as you have a coffee you'll get great petit fours, yummy.

The presentation of food, and the service at Tom Aikens were faultless, and in fact, very impressive. However, the quality of seafood while fresh, disappointed a little. Still, I will go back again to give it another chance before writing it off. The petite fours after dinner were the most impressive I've ever encountered. Overall, the meal was good value, with the toptable offer.

Tom Aikens comes with a great reputation so had to be worth a try, given the 2 courses for £23 offer. The food was mostly excellent, although the jury is out about the appetiser that was delivered. The only issue for me was that the atmosphere was quite stiff and would have preferred something a bit buzzier. That was probably my own fault in venue selection.
