My marks for The Lonsdale are based on past visits, as this time was sadly below par both for food and service. That said, I have been coming here for almost 4 years, the atmosphere is cool, the cocktails are some of the best (and most recently priced) in london. The food is generally good value but the real star is the atmosphere.

The Lonsdale is a very chic restaurant where you can go to meet friends or cosy up with that special someone. The staff are very attentative and the food is simple yet delicious. I would recommend this restaurant to friends and colleagues.

My coq au vin was delicious and the parsley mash was a nice twist. Cocktails were good. Ambience was slightly subdued due to lack of people. However, we had a lovely girly birthday drinking cocktails and eating good food. The magician was a good added bonus. Would recommend if you are in the area but wouldn't necessarily travel for it.

We booked a table at The Lonsdale for 12 and startet the night with some excellent cocktails. The staff was pleasant and the food was very good and looked amaizing. However we didn't get our food at the some time which is important when your a group. It was also a bit confusing that we had to order food from one waiter and drinks (wine) from another waiter. The Lonsdale has a great athmosphere and it's decor is stunning. Worth a try.
