Furnival Hall of Residence - University of Westminster

I stayed for a week at Furnival House in one of the two apartments. It was your basic dorm room with it's own bathroom and kitchen. Two twin beds (single mattress cot-style and not very comfortable). Kitchen provided cutlery, plates, washing up liquid, glasses, pans, and that's about all. Located in the basement, which made it quite dark even with the French doors that opened out basically to a view of the retaining wall (you had to look up to see the sky). Has its own television with 5 channels. Laundry room across the hall. Quiet enough after eleven p.m, but reminded me a lot of my college dormitory life from 20 years ago (beige walls, naked lightbulbs, cinderblock walls, exposed pipes). I prefer a little more luxury, although the price could not be beat at L52 pounds per night. I would not stay there again, but I do recommend it for young adults or those on a strict budget.
