London Eye

Obwohl der Ausblick fantastisch war, kann ich selbst im Nachhinein nicht sagen, ob sich der hohe Preis dafur gelohnt hat.

Die Fahrt dauert etwa 30 Minuten und ging vorbei wie im Flug. Vor der Fahrt wurden samtliche Rucksacke aus Sicherheitsgrunden kontrolliert

My Husband and I chose to take a ride on the eye as the very first thing to do after dumping our bags off at the hotel! I thought it very fitting to have a good look at London and the area we would be visiting before actually setting out to explore! The view was amazing and the Half hour flew by with so much to look at. We pratically had the capsule to ourselves, with only one other family in it with us (and them actaully seemed a bit frightened and sat down the whole time!) The picture they capture at the end was a must buy. We got it on a key chain, a fridge magnet and a normal photograph. The photo maybe was a little on the pricey side... but what really isn't for souvniers in London!

We are going back to London this summer and are planning on staying a few steps away from the Eye. We hope to take in a night time turn this trip!

I got to see nearly the whole capital. Even buckingham palace.
