Adulis - great lighting, atmosphere and decor. Nice mix of locals and others trying the food for the first time. Friendly service. We ordered the combination plate, great for first timers. You eat with your fingers with unleavened bread which makes things pretty fun and the food itself was excellent - lightly spiced lamb dishes, tasty spinach and vegetable dishes and a lovely spicy chicken dish which was incredibly tender. This plus a bottle of wine was under £25 each making it great value.

I went to Adulis for the first time on Friday night for my husbands birthday and it was great! The food was absoultely delicious and interesting as we had never tried Eritrian cuisine before. The atmosphere was lovely and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly- we will definately be returning!

Adulis was fantastic, we've been meanning to go for ages but just hadn't got around to it until tonight. The food was amazingly tasty and the service was friendly and prompt. Really lovely atmostphere as well. Would highly recommend the sharing plates. I will definitely be going back. I can't wait!
