Dover Street Restaurant & Bar

I took my girlfriend here for valentines and we were both amazed as soon as we walked through the door. The staff were extremely friendly who offered to take our coats, we walked down the stairs to a lady waiting to take us to our table. all the waiting staff were friendly and always smiling. we totally lost track of time whilst listerning to some great live music and still allowed us to talk without raising our voices. the food was fantasic and very welll presented. I recommend to everyone

The food at Dover St was good and the ambience and band were great. However, the staff were unhelpful bording on rude. We had a mix up with our main order and they were not helpful at all in sorting it out, there was also no apology. We were told we could only have our table until 10 (even though we booked well in advance) but no other diners had to give up their tables and there was no other seating available. We would return for the food and the music but not the service.

Great venue for an office party. Enjoyed it so much may book again for next year. Quite expensive though for drinks and not always use the real thing! Toilets only badside as lots of steps and I am sure lots of accidents
