As I was holding London pass, i had great interest to see London by cycle and was waiting desperately to have a tour. Due to holidays on 24,25,26th December I lost many chances to see various sites of london and due to holidays I was rushing to see many places and on sunday 28th December I went and saw few other places, making a way to London BiCycle.

I was desperately waiting to reach the site before tours start but since Im a tourist I could not visit the place on time and was late by 40 minutes. I had explained my situation to the gentleman who was the only one sitting there and his name is Mr. Robert. I told him how much I was enthusiastic to tour london by cycle. He tried calling the guide on cell but in vain could not reach as it is understood the guide is involved in the tour.

He then closed the shop handed over one cycle to me and he took another cycle and took me all the way searching for the guide and the other tourists. Luckily we found them after taking shortcut and ride for 15 minutes. Mr. Robert then introduced to the guide and the team and I felt so happy to join them and had no words to express my happiness and the respect to Mr. Robert.

Without his gestures and kind attitude, I Could not have enjoyed the tour which I recommend every single person visiting London to go and see this place and not to forget meet this gentleman a great human being.

You will surely enjoy the ride and its worth seeing london as the guide Mr. Mark will take you and explain in detail all the places and also he will keep the spirit in high makiing everyone happy and a memorable journey.

Worked with London Bicycle to create a custom tour for a corporate event with 20 attendees. Both Robert and Steve were great to work with in spite of us living in different continents and time zones. We communicated by email and phone to determine the logistics and route. Bikes were delivered to our hotel to start, and the tour took attendees from West London across the river and back to East London with even time for a stop at a local pub. We were able to avoid the heavy traffic areas most of the way. The weather cooperated and everyone enjoyed the outdoor exercise while viewing the London sights. It was a fun team-building activity.

Most enjoyable way to see London afresh

Family (two adults, and children 9 years + 7 years) had done Fat Tires bike tours in Berlin (good) and in Paris (disappointing) earlier this year. Now wanted to do a bike tour of our home city, London, and decided on this smaller operator. Very pleased with it. The guide was attentive and knowledgeable, and we all had a great time. The 7-year-old rode on a "hitch-hiker" style device which effectively converted my bike into a tandem. Almost all off road (in the Royal Parks, ot the riverside), and took us to some marvellous spots. Highly recommended.

I wish I had eaten beforehand though, or brought a packed lunch. The tour stops off at the cafe neaxt to the Sepentine Lido, which is seriously expensive.

We booked this tour through e-mail before our arrival in London as we were traveling with our 7-year-old daughter and wanted to make sure they could accomodate. They responded to the email immediately reassuring us. This was one of the best views of London we ever had and we have been to London more times than we can remember. We had a great 3-hour tour and our daughter enjoyed her trailer byke very much. This made us the attraction of the day to many tourists around the busy London streets. We took the tour on Sunday, 9th August and as it was a great, sunny day, London was full. We had to walk with our bicycles a few times and also crossing the busy streets was sometimes difficult, however overall the tour was great. We would definately recommend it to anyone looking for an alternative way to enjoy London.

I can’t fail to say that I enjoyed this tour which takes you off of the beaten track allowing you to see the ‘real’ London. It did, however, seem a little bit hit-and-miss with the organisation. It was a case of that bike will do, no option of a helmet or any other advice given. In fact, the girl thought I was just hiring a bike, it got a bit confusing.

At one point we had to carry our bikes down rather a lot of steps at Tower Bridge which was a struggle in the crowds, particularly for one older gentleman whilst the guide was off in the front.

The guide was OK, a bit vague in places, contradicted himself a bit but on the whole, did gives lots of interesting facts.

I would go again. It certainly puts a different spin on viewing London. I used a voucher but if I paid full price I’d probably try another company. Gabriel Wharf though, is a great location - very vibrant.

Overall it was huge fun, but not particularly professional.
