Longchamp Pop-Up Shop in Selfridges

If you want to get your mitts on one of the new Kate Moss-designed handbags for Longchamp this February, Selfridges is the place to do it. Moss, who is also the face of Longchamp's advertising campaign, has designed a three-strand collection of handbags for the luxury French brand inspired by her busy lifestyle as a model, mother and designer. Rock 'n' Casual is a mix of go-anywhere, wear-with-anything bags for everyday; Rock 'n' Travel is inspired by vintage luggage; and Rock 'n' Glam features the ultimate red carpet bag – the Soho clutch pochette. You'll find the Selfridges Longchamp pop-up at the Selfridges Concept Store.

New Matthew Williamson Menswear Collection at Harrods

Bucking the economic trend, Matthew Williamson is launching a new menswear collection this month. And he's chosen Harrods for the exclusive launch. While other labels, including Mulberry and Ted Baker, have announced they're cancelling their menswear lines due to the downturn, Williamson is boldly bringing bright cashmere sweaters, silk printed scarves and beaded T-shirts to the capital. Looks like this is what the beautiful boys are going to be wearing on the beach come summer.

February Half-Term Fun at Fortnum & Mason

If you're wondering how to entertain the little ones this February half term, why not pop into Fortnum & Mason's Demonstration Kitchen? From Tuesday to Friday at 2pm during half term, you can choose from making perfect pancakes (16 Feb), cupcake decorating (17 Feb), gingerbread decorating (18 Feb) and more pancakes (19 Feb). Prices are about £2.50 per pancake or cupcake, and it all sounds lots of fun.

Anita's Vintage Fashion Fair Returns this February

Anita's Vintage Fashion Fair promises around 65 stalls full of vintage clothes, textiles and accessories. Head down to the fair, and you're likely to be jostling with art and fashion students as well as stage and film costume designers for the best in everything from vintage buttons, fabrics, 18th-century costumes and masses of accessories. Previous sales have seen designer labels like Biba, Vivienne Westwood, YSL and Chanel snapped up by vintage lovers. In addition, this month's fair is raising money for Haiti: take your good quality clothing, books, homeware and unwanted gifts to Anita's Vintage Fashion Fair, clearly labelled "Haiti Appeal." All the money raised from selling these items will go directly to the Haiti Earthquake Appeal.

New Look Opens A New Store on Oxford Street

Fashion retailer New Look opens its biggest and most prestigious flagship store this week. After a fire closed the New Look store on Oxford Street East back in 2007, shoppers looking for New Look's covetable collection of cheap clothes have had to head all the way down to the Marble Arch store. Not any more! Rumour has it pop star and New Look model Kimberley Walsh will cut the ribbon on the new store. The new New Look replaces the large Borders that closed down last summer. It's a fantastic location for the fashion brand: within stilet-tip-toeing distance of Topshop, H&M and Zara.

Lulu Guinness Opens Carnaby Pop-Up Shop

This February, Lulu Guinness opens her first pop-up shop off Carnaby Street in London. The pop-up shop is celebrating both Valentine's Day and London Fashion Week, with a specific selection of Lips products. A percentage of the sales of Lulu Guinness Lips clutches is being donated to the London College of Fashion, creating bursaries to support students in their study of the historical and contemporary practice of fashion. Lulu joined forces with the London College of Fashion last summer to launch a scholarship for MA Accessories / Artefact Design as part of her 20th anniversary celebrations.

Westfield London Opens 14-Screen Cinema Complex

Fans of Westfield London (So many shops! So many sizes! So much space!) have yet another reason to visit the fantastic shopping centre this month. A picture-perfect Vue cinema opens its doors for the very first time inside Westfield London on 12 February. There'll be 14 separate state-of-the-art cinemas with massive floor-to-ceiling, wall-to-wall digital screens, giving the ultimate picture quality and a wide choice of films. And they'll be showing movies in 3D, too. If we can just stop shopping long enough to sit down and enjoy a film…

Trousers London Pop-Up Shop For London Fashion Week

For two weeks in February, Trousers London is hosting a pop-up shop/exhibition in Seven Dials. The premium men's jeanswear brand will be showcasing the latest limited-edition denim styles, launching a series of organic T-shirts with striking graphics, and the work of collaborative artists and photographers at the shop. The Trousers London doors will open on 13 February, remain open throughout London Fashion Week, and close at the end of February. Look out for a series of events at the Trousers London pop-up shop including art installations, competitions and performances. There'll also be a denim recycling bank in store.

Harvey Nichols Open Fourth Floor to Fashion

Attention London Fashionistas! From today, you'll have a whole new area of Harvey Nicks to explore. The new fourth floor of fashion, "an area where fashion, accessories and lifestyle come together," has arrived. The floor, which used to be the furniture department, now offers big name designers as well as up-and-coming names from the world of fashion. There'll also be a lifestyle area featuring novelty toys, coffee table books and iPods. In addition, you'll find exhibitions, installations and designer collaborations. The plan is for the Harvey Nichols' Fourth Floor to become "an ever changing fashion destination, evolving from season to season." See you there.
