Mariah Carey Turns on the Christmas Lights at Westfield

Westfield London welcomes singing superstar Mariah Carey this week. Mariah will be switching on Westfield's Christmas lights on Thursday, before holding a special signing for her new album Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel. As one of the world's biggest stars, Mariah's arrival will be suitably accompanied by pyrotechnics, butterfly confetti and hundreds of fans! Westfield's Southern Terrace will be transformed with a VIP pink carpet, lined with fans and shoppers while Mariah makes an entrance under a snowfall of confetti. Don't miss it!

Kidrobot Opens in Seven Dials

Cult arty toy brand Kidrobot has come to London at last! The funky American label was founded in 2002 by designer Paul Budnitz. Since then, Kidrobot has become world famous for its colourful vinyl art toys, including the iconic Dunny, as well as its clothing, jewellery and accessories. The new Kidrobot store in Seven Dials sits perfectly alongside other cult brands like Addict, Volcom and Carhartt, and within kicking distance of the London Graphic Centre. Kidrobot London will stock exclusive products, produced in collaboration with artists, musicians, illustrators and designers.

BarBootSale at The Old Queen's Head

Traditional jumble sales featured jumpers your gran had knitted, cups of tea and lots of slightly broken ornaments from your nan's house. The BarBootSale promises to be nothing like this: vintage clothes, accessories, bags and various oddities, plus designer pieces by labels such as Vivienne Westwood, Diesel, For All Mankind, Dior, Paul Smith, Ben Sherman and more. And unlike jumble sales past run by the vicar's wife and Brown Owl, the talent behind these stalls include trend predictors, event planners, fashion prs and the art editor of British Vogue. Music will be provided by Smash & Grab DJs, The Voguettes and The Internationals playing pop and "frock'n'roll". Early arrival is strongly advised.

Head to Tatty Devine on Saturday, and you'll be entered into a competition to win a limited-edition White Tiger Necklace. St Katharine's Docks Good Food Market

If you work north of the river, and find getting to Borough Market on a Friday lunchtime is a bit of a trek, we've got some good news. The St Katharine Docks Good Food Market starts next week, and will run every Friday between 10am and 4pm. You'll find the market outside the historic Dickens Inn in Centre Basin, over-looking the water. Pop down to enjoy a variety of stalls; from hog roast to English honey, Brazilian street food to French crepes, fresh baked cupcakes to delicious hot pies. Despite the international flavours, all the ingredients are locally sourced where possible.

Marmite Pop-Up Shop Comes to London

Marmite lovers are in for a treat as the iconic brand has launched a London pop-up shop near Piccadilly Circus. The shop, situated in the Quadrant Arcade on Regent Street, is selling more than 100 different Marmite products, including teapots, cheeseboards, coasters and cookbooks, as well as a pop art range including kitchenware, canvas and printed artworks. This quirky new addition to Regent Street is more than just a shop; there's a love/hate art installation, you can learn new Marmite recipes, add your photo to the love/hate wall, and enjoy a cup of tea and some Marmite on toast in the upstairs café.
